David Furones is a sports reporter for the South Florida Sun Sentinel covering the Miami Hurricanes. He has also covered the Miami Heat, FAU football, high school sports and recruiting for the Sun Sentinel, and he previously was a correspondent for the Miami Herald. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and Southwest Miami High.
