Man accused of pointing gun at motorist on I-95 in Hollywood

MIRAMAR — She feared for her life, but had the presence of mind to get the license plate number of the car that cut her off at gunpoint, and now the man accused is facing charges.

The woman, who is not being identified under Marsy’s privacy law, was driving south on Interstate 95 near the exit at Pembroke Road in Hollywood on the morning of Feb. 19.

At about 11 a.m., the driver of a black Infiniti, who was passing her car in the left lane, rolled down both of his passenger side windows and pointed a black handgun at her, according to the arrest report.

She followed the Infiniti west onto Pembroke Road, taking video and photos of the car’s license plate. When the driver realized what she was doing, he sped away, the report stated.
